PositivityChange Post : Issue 27 : Staying Positive Past the First Quarter

Hey everyone! I know that I have been hiatus but for good reasons: a lot of positive things have been happening over here. I am very excited to return to PositivityChange because I know that you probably have been experiencing the same amount of positive change that I have. And, if you haven’t, well, that’s what this newsletter is for! Our mission is to help you manifest positive change in both your personal and professional lives. That’s also why I’ve named this newsletter ‘staying positive past the first quarter’.

Staying Positive Past the First Quarter

I know that for some, the New Year’s luster has worn off and 2017 is looking and feeling like 2016. That’s why I’ve included Positive Change Guru’s article about how 90-day goals will change your life. The editorial board wants you to have a better 2nd quarter than 1st quarter.

Freebie Alert : Positive Self-Talk Worksheet

If you need a more immediate pick me up, here’s a self-talk worksheet from my second favorite social media platform, Pinterest! This worksheet will help you navigate through all of the negative self-talk replacing it with positive self-talk.

Be on the look out for more positive change articles on the blog site this week and April. We have a lot of articles, resources and podcasts coming this second-quarter!

PositivityChange Post Issue 25 Taking the Pulse on Positive Change

I am very happy to have reached 25 issues with you! This newsletter always makes me think and gives me hope towards being optimistic about the future. Through this period, you have seen the changes. I have responded to subscriber surveys to give you, the reader, the stuff that you truly want in your inbox. This issue is no different. Last week I gave everyone a survey and here are the results: you want more professional resources. You got it!

I have found a change article from the Kotter International. For those who do not know, the Kotter International is one of the preeminent change management organizations in the world. It partners with Forbes and Huffington Post sharing its change management theories. In the Forbes article, Kotter International dishes on the five ways that both workers and companies can balance change without blaming each other. This article aligns with PositivityChange’s mantra of helping you manifest positive change in your personal and professional lives.

Newsletter : Issue 22 : Spreading Positive Change Everywhere!

Hey everyone! This is Carla and I hope that you are enjoying February as much as I am! I know that Valentine’s Day is next Tuesday but I refuse to relegate love next week. I want to spread love and positive change everywhere! So right now I have decided to dedicate two weeks (thus far) towards spreading love. In this issue I will give you resources necessary to help you manifest positive change in both your personal and professional lives. Remember, achieving positive change is always an inside job!

It is very hard to create positive change. There I have said it! Positive change is harder than negative change because it requires more work. It is easier getting downsized than promoted. It is easier getting in a funk than coming out of one. However, just because positive change requires more does not mean that it is impossible.

Personal positive change

I have come across this resource from Tiny Buddha about positive change and energy. If you have read the blog, you would have seen some mindfulness articles. I am a big believer in mindfulness and shifting your energy. These activities take diligence and practice; however, they can be done. The article states that music is the easiest (but not the only way) to shift your energy. Myself, I love writing in my journal. It is organic and as soon as I write down my thoughts, I feel the energy leave my body and onto the pen and paper. Writing truly helps me when I am having a bad day and need to shift my energy quickly. Here is the Tiny Buddha article for other ways to positively shift your energy!

Professional positive change

We do not live in a bubble. Even if you are teleworking, you are still a part of a team. You will have some type of human interaction throughout the workweek. Therefore, it is essential that you guard your energy from certain coworkers or even managers. They could be energy vampires. Moreover, if you are at a company or in an industry where you are on the bad side of the business cycle, your environment will be filled with doubt. Here is a LinkedIn article giving you realistic steps towards dealing with change in the workplace.

Remember, every week I bring you the real about manifesting positive change. I can tell you from personal experience that it is not very. At times, it takes courage and a backup plan to realize positive change. I have been in toxic work environments. I have faced personal uncertainty; and, have come out of both of these situations better off.

Until next week, keep manifesting positive change in your personal and professional lives!

Issue 20 : What Are You Putting Up With?

I have been participating in a business mastermind as of lately. The mastermind requires a book. I start reading the first chapter and immediately get hit with a brick from its title: ‘what are you putting up with?’ This title stops me cold because I completely understand it. I have experienced a lot of growing pains due to my refusing to put up with things. That title has hit me so hard that I have gone to the Facebook group to do a video.

PositivityChange.com is a place where we help you manifest positive change in your personal and professional lives. I am asking you what are you putting up with now? Watch the video below.

What Are You Putting Up With?

This Thursday at 6pm EST, there will be an all-new Positive Change Radio based on this article. Click to listen live: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/missphenomena/2017/01/26/what-are-you-putting-up-with

Newsletter : Issue 19 – Ready to Make Your Dreams Come True? Read This!

Hey everyone! I am back with an all-new issue dedicated towards making your dreams come true. I am all about positive change so why not especially on Dr. Martin Luther King holiday weekend? It is important that entering week 3 of this New Year, that we still sustain our momentum in achieving all of our personal and professional goals. I want to see you win!

I have been working hard on realizing my own personal and professional goals. Personally, I have made a concerted effort to upload my weekly goals onto my 2017 Pinterest vision board. I copy and paste my MS Word accomplishments onto MS Paint then upload it every Friday night to keep track. I have created this system because my 2016 Pinterest vision board hasn’t held me accountable. I am realizing the results on my newly implemented accountability hack:

Below are two articles from the PositivityChange archives related to making your dreams come true:

PositivityChange Articles:

Newsletter : Issue 17 : Pivot on Positive Change in 2017!

Happy New Year everyone!

This year I am pivoting my life and career towards growth and experiencing more positive change. I am also in a very different position now than when I started this blog in July 2015. I am relying more on blogging than working a job. Also 2016 was my first full year of blogging. This demanded a whole lot of commitment. My 2016 highlight was the December time management series because I felt that these articles helped so many people maximize their time. I did a lot of livestreaming (mainly Periscope and Facebook Live) to expand my message. I ended the time management series on a high note with the FREE YouTube Live time management webinar. You can watch it here: www.positivitychange.com/timemanagement.

In 2017 my goal is to bring more positive change news. I will supply more change management resources. Also I will do more livestreaming and events. Speaking of events, this Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 12pm EST, Goddess Fish will host my Expand Your Personal Brand workbook Facebook party. I have decided to kick off 2017 with a party because I want people to manifest positive change in their personal and professional lives. My workbook accomplishes this for less than $10. You can buy it here: www.expandyourpersonalbrand.com/workbook.
