I admit when I first write down my monthly accomplishments this is only one thing: getting more Facebook followers. I will say that I have nearly forgotten that this month is my anniversary month. This changes everything because I have survived and thrived on the blogosphere! Below are my July accomplishments:
- Gain more Facebook followers
- Celebrate 2-year anniversary!
July is my anniversary month! I am very happy to have blogged for 2 years! Yes, I have created my site on July 31, 2015 and my first post is that generic WordPress site post but dang it – I am up on the Internet and ready for business! Blogging on this site has transformed me personally and professionally. Personally I have gained a whole new level of endurance from being consistent. Blogging is hard! I have to keep coming up with new ideas, concepts, and ways to expand. When I started in 2015, there were no Blogtalkradio podcast, now YouTube Live episodes, Facebook Live, nothing; just me, my laptop and my thoughts. I wanted to create a place where people can read about and enact positive change principles. I wanted to counter the notion that all change was negative. After 2 years, I felt that I had accomplished. Indeed, at the 2-year mark I was just getting started.
It took me up to this point to actually figure out a monetization strategy. Moving forward, I feel that I to do more ways of monetizing. I do see a positive mug and TV line in the very near future because I have been wanting to do that since the beginning. Now I am in a position to accomplish this.
